David Pugh – teacher, lawyer, historian and political activist – died on January 26, 2023, aged 74
Twenty-nine Stanford students barged into a business meeting of the Stanford University Board of Trustees. The students wielded a list of demands aimed at ending military research on campus and at the Stanford Research Institute. The Trustees refused to listen. Furniture was broken.
