Danny had been living with me since last September and I am grateful we got that chance to reconnect. I feel I learned so much more about him over the four months.  Oh man, we laughed so much... one of the last things I said to him was I am so happy I get to call him more than my brother. 

 I'm so not ready for our time to be over.

I am devastated and heartbroken and it's hard to believe I have to move on without him. We had so many plans. I miss him so much already and it's only been a week. 

I just learned of Dan’s passing, sincere condolences to his family. 

I met Dan when he came to play baseball as an import in New Brunswick in the summer of 1991 and 1992. He was a great teammate and had a great sense of humour. 

Kaz was always ready to compete at just about anything. Always a big smile, big heart and one of the best A valued and respected  hockey, baseball, football, and basketball teammate during high school years.

Reset easy Kazman, rest easy.

 I'll remember Dan as a fun-loving guy and an absolutely incredible athlete. At our high school awards banquet, I remember the football coach, Mr. Kot,  going on at length about what a great player Dan was.  He had skill, speed, toughness, coachability, leadership and was well-liked by other players. . . just the best football player you could possibly ask for. Then Mr. Kot sighed and said, "And he's going to college on a baseball scholarship." I've always remembered the laugh that got, and how admired Dan was by everyone in that room.

I’m in shock. I’ll never forget the day I met Kasper. He had just arrived in Sydney as the new import for our Ryde/Eastwood “Hawkies”. After a series of queries we were stunned to uncover that Dan was the man who had replaced me at the Feyenood Baseball Club in Holland 5 years prior. I didn’t want to like this bloke. Well, that didn’t happen. We had loads of laughs. He knew I enjoyed his movie quoting abilities and always had a few ready for me. 

My favourite memory is from a pub in Tamworth on a Friday night. Rage Against the Machine “Killing in the Name” came on and we came unglued together. Jumping up and down, raging and singing and laughing. Our paths less travelled crossed and the connection was not lost on us.

Tender condolences to you Tracy and all of your & Dan’s family, especially Dan’s daughter your niece~Matilda.

We got to know Dan well in Calgary; during the year and a half from Jan. 2015- May. 2016.

Such a special man🦋an amazing, kind, energetic, sensitive and funny gent. He brought warmth & insight to our family.

Dan even came to church a few times with 😉us…he was always so gentle and helpful,

Dan didn’t wait to be asked, he just jumped in and offered of himself so freely. He accepted people for who they are, with great understanding & without judgement.

Our ole’ maltese Bella just adored him and turned into a puppy ever time she saw him.

I do recall when he bought his new truck, showed it to us, and suddenly we had a hailstorm.  

Being an ole farm gal I didn’t wait to ask him but ran outdoors and threw a quilt over his shiny new black truck… the hail wasn’t that bad. Boy was he startled.☺️

We all laughed so hard, later on over a coffee!

God bless you all with much tender comfort…He was such a good man.

While all this is so very hard 🙏🏼 🕯️we share with you that often we heard that he loved you all~so much, beyond any words.

I used to Babysit for the Kasperski kids 4 doors down on Ash Drive in Weyburn way back in the early 1970s as our Mothers were friends.  Fun bunch that always kept me on my toes. Danny was a sweetheart and so full of energy and idolized his big brother Michael 💜

His passing  was way to soon…So hard to believe he’s gone as I keep up through Facebook and was happy he was able to come back to visit Saskatchewan with his daughter last summer.

We have many memories as all of us grew up together right across the street from each other. The one that sticks out is Danny (and probably Brad) deciding it was time for me to stop using training wheels on my bike. So he got out the tools and off they came. Then I got on my bike …he gave me a push and said ride. Haha ha. I’m sure I fell a few times, but I did it!!  

His smile and huge heart will always be cherished. ❤️🙏🏻
