We certainly did do many things with your mom and dad. We went on vacations together many times, including to Hawaii and Panama. Betty and I share many meals together, and we were always thankful for Cleo's cooking ability. we visited them when your dad began his work in Independence, CA. They were an important part of our life forever. We certainly missed them when they died. By the grace of God we will see them again when the Kingdom comes. Won't that be great!
Mom and I started our relationship in 1974 until her death. When it came time for us to decide where to live when the kids were young, we decided to be close to one set of grand-parents and travel to the other. This gave us quality time to spend with Mom and Dad. This also meant that our kids were very involved in their lives. Meals were shared, stopping by to say Hi. Caring for each other’s homes/ and pets when one or the other of us was on vacation. We took Stretch & Sew classes together, learned about our color palettes and what season we were. We hosted lots of parties, either at my home or yours. We cared for the elderly together and I was able to see first hand your compassion and concern for others. 51 years of being “ Mom”, thanks for all the memories.

Monthly as neighbors we enjoyed celebrating each other’s birthdays by going to lunch. It was fun to catch up on all the latest news. Cleo always had a share of tales to tell. After living next door for many years I have missed her greatly. She is now safely home with others she loves. I will miss her very much! Barbara Clonts
