In loving memory of Catherine Stevenson Sharrock who passed away peacefully, with family at her side on August 7th 2022. Catherine (Cathy) was born in Scotland in 1935 and with nothing more than what she could fit into a small suitcase and very little money, took a boat to this country as a young lady to pursue a better life. Soon after, she met her husband Sherman, and they were married in 1963. Cathy was a loving mom to three children, Gus, Susan and Liz. She adored her four grandchildren, Jay, Joey, Jack and Jeremy, and her two great-grandchildren, Jack and Charlie Mae. Cathy’s greatest joy was being with her family and grandchildren.

Cathy spent the last 22 years living with, being loved by and cared for by Liz and her husband, Todd. That was her home and she was there right up until her final day with us.

Cathy was an uncomplicated and true lady who placed little value on material things and tremendous value on love. While she was intensely proud of her Scottish heritage, it was becoming a US citizen in 1998 that she was most proud of. Cathy was adored by many for her simple and caring ways. She was pure love and she will be missed every single day.
