Such a wonderful person , I had the pleasure of working with Cathy at Trillium  Health for a short time. She was caring and well liked by all. She will be missed by many. Sleep in heavenly peace my dear friend. Heaven has gained another angel 😇.

Sending my condolences upon learning the very sad news of Cathy’s sudden passing.  I worked with Cathy in Emergency, and she was an exceptional, caring nurse, and colleague.  Always well organized, with a smile on her face and a penchant for a funny story. She advocated for better patient care and always stood strong for what she believed in. Her nursing skills and people skills will be missed, as will her kindness.  She spoke often of family, especially nieces and nephews- always sharing sweet photos.  Physical, mental and spiritual health are part of a whole person— and when one part is suffering, the whole is often affected.  RIP Cathy.  Your work here was important, and we’ll take it from here….

I’ll always remember the great times we had with Auntie Cat- especially as kids. She would take us to the water park for the entire day during summer break. Unfortunately that all ended when a seagull shat on her head in the ice-cream line… she made sure we got the ice-cream for free haha!

When Auntie Cat had her days off you could find her tanning by the pool. She was well known amongst all our friends because she would be there during lunch break on school days. One too many times, we would bring friends home for lunch and  found her tanning topless.  Amongst our friends, it was an inside joke- we had to warn her before bringing anyone home for lunch. In high school, Holly always loved when Cat would hang by the pool because she left Woody’s coolers in the fridge for her.

Auntie Cat would always make sure to come for dinner when we were having something she liked + we made sure she left with a snack pack for work the next day. Sometimes she would stop by during the day to raid the fridge for some good left-overs.

Auntie Cat will be greatly missed <3

My sister lived too many of her days in darkness. She constantly tried to push it away, to let in the light, but the light rarely reached back to pull her through. She too often said to me on a bright sunny day " I opened my blinds today and it is still black outside, so I am going back to bed"

Her life plagued with too much darkness, this is my song to Cathy, who I know for certain has finally found her sunlight.

I will always remember you and love you Cathy

Cathy wanted to visit New Yor…

Cathy wanted to visit New York so we went together. The wind and storm that week left 100's of umbrellas scattered in the streets. I am glad I shared that wish list with my sister — with Cathy
