Candi's obituary
We mournfully announce the passing of Candace "Candi" Wineland, 57, of Cincinnati, OH. Candi passed away on October 22, 2022, after a brief but hard-fought battle with cancer.
Candi was born to Edward and Vicki Wineland on November 29, 1964, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Candi graduated from Buhler High School in 1983 and attended Hutchinson Junior College and Kansas State University. She lived a full and vibrant life with family and friends. Her nephew (William Dalton) and niece (Bentley Dalton) meant more to her than words can describe, she was their second mom. Candi devoted most of her life to caring for and helping others. She enjoyed watching sports, walking her dog Finn, attending Indian Hill School events, and visiting Kansas. She was also an active member of Crossroads Community Church. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God. Now that Candi has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Candi’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. She is survived by her beloved parents Ed and Vicki Wineland, her sister and life long best friend Shelli Wineland, her brother-in-law Doug Dalton, niece Bentley and nephew William along with Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Candi joins her grandparents and other family members in Heaven.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Indian Hill Foundation. Candi was actively involved in the Indian Hill School District as this is where William and Bentley attended K-12. She volunteered regularly and worked at the school for 3 years. She did not miss a sporting event and at the end of her life she watched every event that was televised since she could not attend in person. William and Bentley will be able to designate where your donations will best honor Candi. LINK HERE https://form-renderer-app.don…
