Brenda, James, Austin and Travis Cowen
2019, BASEBALL HERO DAY AT CLEAR LAKE HIGH SCHOOL
This picture is not from a birthday, but a picture that I actually forgot to send her from a baseball event back when our boys played at the high school. The last time I saw Brenda was on her birthday last year.  I had texted her to check how she was doing.  She mentioned that it was her birthday, and of course, I said, "Well, Happy Birthday!" I then asked her if I could go pick up her favorite dessert, which I did.....she wanted an almond dessert from Frenchies. I brought it to her house and visited with her. We caught up with all of our boys' lives and everything else in between.  I'm so glad that I got to spend a little time with her. Even with all that she was going through and even the pain she mentioned, she still had that wonderful smile on her face and always optimistic.

Al and all, we pray for you and your beloved Brenda and will plan a visit with you soon,  May God grant you peace!  Bill and Jeannette

Such a friend!  Brenda brought her staff on the road to cater wedding receptions for Phil and Gada's wedding in March and again in October for Annie and Wes' wedding receptions here.  She even provide babysitting for Wes' sister's little ones!  She and her staff were like family!  During college Anne worked receptions for Brenda--and she learned to pour champagne correctly!

Our families shared many occasions from St. Paul's to Super Bowl parties and much in between.  We were at both Mandi and Meir's weddings---Sharing family was one of the best memories of Brenda; she included everyone, every time, and any where.

Sadly we did not know of her illness so missed the opportunity to visit--we are not on Facebook so didn't know, but that's OK since she knew of our love.  We love the posted pictures of her with that baby granddaughter!  I can easily imagine her in heaven, pain free, but still organizing her own welcome party.  We will miss her but are sure that the resurrection will join us all again.

Brenda was such a special lady. Her energy was amazing I have such fond memories of her. She had such spirit. And she loved to cook Now she is helping others learn her craft. Bless Brenda May she rest in peace

What a treasure. She will be missed. Please accept my condolences.

She was just like a second Mom to me and had absolutely no problem setting me straight in her loving, sincere, and sweet way. Whether we were in church, or I accidentally dyed Meri’s hair black at A&M, or we had used baby oil when we went swimming and looked like lobsters, she got her point across and we understood it. I will miss her, but she will always be in my heart.  Prayers for all the Robinette, Kapp, families and all that were touched by her loving spirit. ❤️🙏🏻😘
I can remember how whenever we went out to eat as a family and we were gathering all of our leftovers together, Meri and I would “accidentally” put a salt shaker or sweet n lows or something in the box before she would realize it later. We thought that was so funny..❤️

Your family loss is a loss to all the Clear Lake community. So sorry she wasn’t able to recover from her health issues. We also raised our grandchildren and Tyler was a friend of Jordyn and Joseph.  We felt a lot in common. She treated Tyler like another son and he felt loved by her.  Such a special lady. Hope she and Tyler shared a big welcoming hug as she arrived in heaven.
