I came to know Bob through work. Bob was always polite and very professional when we would have hearings. A well educated and intelligent lawyer, no one would believe how hilarious he was between cases. Many times we would have to take longer than expected breaks just to regain our composure. One day I was putting gas in my vehicle and I kept hearing someone call out Dr Kinder! I could not figure out who this was. Finally Bob stepped between the pumps and I then recognized my colleague. He was in jeans and a worn shirt driving a huge red truck! He was an extremely well rounded and humble/gentle soul. I will miss my Friend.

As a court reporter, I worked with Bob a lot over the years and interacted with him when I was in the office. I am sure there was a serious side to Bob, but I don't believe I ever saw it. He was the most fun loving person that I have ever known. You could never quite tell if he was serious or not when he told you a story. He always had a smile on his face and something funny to say. I loved his office with all the Civil War Memorabiia. I would ask him about some of the things because my son is also a Civil War enthusiast, and he always had a story about it. I loved seeing his daughters' pictures on the table next to where I sat, and anyone could tell that they were the love of his life., It was always amazing to me how he found anything on his desk because it looked like a tornado had gone through there, but I am sure either he or Cindy one knew exactly where everything was. He was probably the only person I know who drank more diet sodas than I did, but his drink of choice was Diet Pepsi and mine was Diet Coke. RIP Bob Williams.

I think this was when I first met Bob, we were hunting on Bill Boggess’ farm. Bob had just bought a Honda ATV, he was stuck on a steep incline, his ATV had stalled out. I had to help him get out of that bind, but it made us closer and been ever since. He was one of the people in my life I looked up to for guidance. He always said to go to law school and I’ll hire you, Bob knew I hated to read and would never be capable of that. When filing for divorce in late 2003 I consulted Bob, “what do I need to do,” he said come up and see me, we will fix this. Little did I know I’d met the love of my life, Cindy, his assistant, who I happened to go to high school with. Cindy and I have been together for over 20 years now, we will really miss his sense of humor and fatherly advice. I miss you sir and will never forget you,
