William "Billy" Braden, born on September 13, 1992, passed away on August 8, 2023 surrounded by his family. With a heavy heart, we remember a life well-lived and celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.

Billy is the son of Barbara (nee Hopkins) and Kevin Braden; brother of Kate Braden; beloved by aunts, uncles, many cousins, family, friends, and family dogs Honey, Ellie, and George.

Billy was a graduate of Fremd High School in Palatine, IL, and received his undergraduate degree in computer engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He spent his career working with various clients around the country as a cyber security consultant at Accenture.

A true Renaissance man at heart, his interests spanned from Cub Scouts as a young boy, to his passion for and participation in soccer through high school, to producing electronic music, following F1 racing well before it was mainstream, and traveling the world as an adult. He had a knack for adding humor to any situation with his quick wit, bringing smiles to the faces of those he loved.

Billy lived a full life with an infectious spirit that left a lasting mark on all who knew him. Though his time on earth was too short, his memory will carry on forever.

A visitation will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Billy’s name to support the Lung Cancer Research Fund at Rush University Medical Center.
