Background
During the course of Ben's treatments and appointments at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, UT, Ben and I stayed at the Hope Lodge. It is offered as a free service to caregivers and patients getting treatment for cancer, and includes things like a private room and bathroom, shuttles to appointments, free toiletries, laundry, and even a free, complete kitchen for use while you are staying.
Dealing with the costs associated with cancer treatment can be overwhelming for families. The Hope Lodge allowed us to stay somewhere clean and comfortable right next to the Huntsman Center. It removes a financial barrier for families to help their loved ones recieve expert care at one of the best facilities in the nation.
You can either donate money, or donate supplies that go directly to families staying at the Lodge by purchasing from their Amazon wishlist at:
