Ian and I went skiing at Notchview on the Monday MLK holiday. The conditions were very good given the limited snow we have had so far. We have spent so much time on these trails as a family, the majority of it with the Bill Koch league. That day there were so many Bill Koch skiers and coaches there, it brought me right back to the wonderful time of watching Anna and Ian develop as skiers. And it reminded me of the deep gratitude I feel for the program. I saw one of Anna's former BK coaches out on the trails and she stopped to talkand tell me how she often thinks of Anna and it's not always just skiing - a bright blue sky over Dalton and trigger a memory. This all volunteer program has brought the joy of Nordic skiing to so many kids in the pioneer valley and helped them build confidence as skiers and emerging adults for the older kids. Thank you BK coaches and program. This is also where Anna and Ian participated in the ski patrol training, which was another incredible experience for them. Thank you Mary Ann.
