Andrea (Andi) Elizabeth Napier, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the daughter of the late Anthony G. Napier and Pauline S. Napier, passed away on the 18th of August 2023. Andi was a lifelong educator and loved children more than anything. Most recently, she was teaching English as a second language to individuals making the United States their home.

Andi loved deeply.

She loved her students. She supported every child and built lifelong connections with them.

She loved to knit. Likely, the majority of people reading this have something she created.

She loved books. If you never heard Andrea talk about a book, you likely are thinking of a different Andrea.

And, most of all, she loved her family.

Andi is survived by her husband Matthew, daughter Alex, sons Brad and Phil, her four siblings Cynthia, David, Pamela, and Michelle, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Andi was loved and will be missed by a large network of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will occur on Saturday, September 30, 2023, in Pittsburgh PA. The celebration will begin at East Liberty Presbyterian Church (116 South Highland Avenue, Pgh., PA 15206) at 11:00 am and proceed to the cemetery immediately following the service. Andi's family will also welcome friends and family from 2:00pm-4:30pm at The Church Brew Works Restaurant  (3525 Liberty Avenue, Pgh., PA 15201).
