Background
If you'd like to make a donation in Amy's memory, please consider one of the three non-profits below, each of which held special meaning for her.
Zootown Arts Community Center:
Amy's studio at the ZACC was a place of joy and creative inspiration for her. As a multi-media artist, she delighted in making a holy mess in her space, exploring a sense of expansiveness through her acrylic paintings and paper cuts.
Amy's artwork conveyed a sense of vitality, inviting viewers to cultivate hope, envision new possibilities, and experience a bit of beauty and joy in their days.
Garden City Harvest:
A board member for six years, Amy strongly believed in Garden City Harvest's mission to grow food to nourish bodies, inspire minds, and strengthen community. With more than 20 sites in Missoula, current programming includes Farm to School, Community Gardens, Youth Development, and Neighborhood Farms.
Amy's proudest potluck contributions came from her own backyard. An avid gardener, she loved the feel of digging her fingertips into the earth and wanted that opportunity available to as many people as possible.
Tamarack Grief Resource Center:
Tamarack Grief Resource Center is the only organization dedicated to providing year-round, comprehensive grief support for youth, teens, and adults in Montana. Their therapeutic, nature-based programs are grounded in research-supported best practices and designed to help participants feel understood, gain tools, and access hope. During her earliest years in Missoula, Amy worked directly for Tamarack; more recently, she participated in their Grief Institute Community Day as a presenter. Contribute to Garden City Harvest
