Personal note from Amy’s family

On December 6, 2025, our beloved Amy passed away unexpectedly. Though our hearts ache, we are filled with gratitude for the joy, laughter, and love she shared with us throughout her life.

Amy was a woman who truly loved life. She had a gift for finding joy in the everyday. Her spunky personality was unforgettable. She was quick to laugh and often the first to turn a quiet moment into one filled with humor. Amy’s laughter was contagious, her loving kindness was abundant, and her generosity touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; her son, Jarred Sutherland, and his wife, Erin; and her mother, Nancy Bunting. Amy also leaves behind her siblings Kris Fancher, Debi Beasley (Rick), Karla McMullen (Rob), and Kenny Bunting (Carol). As the youngest of her siblings, Amy held a special place in the family, bringing joy and warmth to nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who adored her.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Carl Bunting, and her first husband, Steve Sutherland. Their memories remain part of her story, woven together with the love she gave so freely.

Her life was guided by a profound love of Jehovah God. Amy held firmly to the resurrection hope, a faith that gave her strength and peace. She trusted in God’s promises with all her heart, and that devotion continues to comfort us as we look forward to the day we will see her again.

To all who knew her, Amy’s memory will live on. We will remember her laughter that filled our homes, her spunky humor that lifted our spirits, and her kindness that never wavered.

With love and gratitude,
Her Family
