Alethia chose to donate her body to science. As always, she wanted to put others' needs before her own. In keeping with her wishes, her remains will then be cremated and her ashes scattered in the gulf of Mexico.
The family is planning a private memorial event. Our greatest wish is for everyone to contribute memories, pictures, videos, and stories about Alethia that can be shared on this site, publicly, and viewed at the memorial event.
