Alan's obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Alan Mancinelli, a devoted family man and friend to all, who passed away on July 3, 2024. Born in 1971, Alan lived a life full of laughter, love, and unyielding devotion to those close to him. He was a man full of life, radiating a fun-loving energy into every room he entered, and was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Alan was a proud serviceman who joined the Airforce in 1994 and served with distinction and honor. He married his loving wife Rachel Mancinelli in 1995 and together they created a beautiful family. Blessed with three daughters, Toni Stafford, Valorie Mancinelli, and Kristen Mancinelli, Alan was the bedrock of his family. His legacy was his family and their love for him was a testament to the life he lived.

Alan was a man of diverse interests and tastes. Whether enjoying the melodies of Pink Floyd, or indulging in his favorite foods like pizza, he embraced life's simple pleasures wholeheartedly. He was a loyal follower of 'How It's Made' and 'Game of Thrones' or any Disney and Harry Potter movies. His favorite place to be was Disney World, where he reveled in his favorite recreational activity— quality family and friends time.

Alan is survived by his wife, Rachel Mancinelli; his daughters, Toni Stafford, Valorie Mancinelli, and Kristen Mancinelli; his brother, Christopher Mancinelli; his niece, Tiffany Young; and his beloved granddaughter, Francesca Stafford.

A Celebration of Life for Alan will be held on August 19, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Dockside Lake Nona (see RSVP for more details). Attendees are encouraged to share their stories and memories of Alan, a man known best for his big personality, ingenious spirit, loyalty to friends, and for being the life of any party. Alan was not just an adult, but a kid at heart who always reminded us to fix things, laugh, and enjoy life to the fullest.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests that contributions be made to the "Trust Fund for Granddaughter Francesca Stafford". Alan has left an impact that will resonate for generations to come, and his spirit will live on through the lessons he shared, the loyalty and the love he gave.

To the very end, Alan embodied the principles he cherished most— devotion to family and loyal friendship. His memory will be carried forward by those who loved him as a testament to a life fully lived and a man well loved. Alan Mancinelli was truly larger than life, and he will be deeply missed.
