Sincere condolences to thw Hackett family. Although I haven't seen Aaron in many years I remember him well from the time we worked in Cincinnati and were BALT members together. May he rest in eternal peace.
To the Hackett Family: I am so sorry for your loss. Aaron was an incredible person --extremely kind and intelligent. I went to high school with Aaron at ORHS and we both worked as college hires for Bechtel in Oak Ridge, TN. Aaron was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He always had an unbridled joy that was infectious. I've always regarded Aaron as an exceptional person--personally and professionally....a sentiment shared by many.  He made a great impact in this world...one that will be carried on by his family, his children and his community. Prayers for strength and peace to you all.

To Family: I offer my sincerest condolences.

To Professor: The unexpectedness of this has left me at a loss for words. I'd like to say thank you for sharing your love for educating students and inspiring the uninspired. I will use your writings as a reminder to keep moving forward.

A fun brother to be around from his wonderful smile to infectious laugh. One of the many things I loved about Aaron was he had a way of sharing wisdom and advice that everyone could easily receive. He always wanted to help those around him achieve to their potential. He will be greatly missed.
Aaron was my colleague in the Marketing Area at Scheller. We would frequently run into each other in the hallways of the College. Every single time I saw him, I was struck by three things: his instantaneous, infectious smile, his enthusiasm for everything, and his dedication to contribute to people around him. We have lost an amazing teacher, a great colleague, and a wonderful human being. Much, much too early. May his soul Rest in Peace. May his family find comfort in the memories of pleasant times spent with him.
Chapter Invisible got a damn good man and brother way, way too soon.  Praying for the family.
Please accept my most sincere condolences. I pray that God will comfort you and you may find peace in the  precious memories that you have of Aaron as husband, father, son, brother, teacher, colleague and friend. He had such a kind spirit and will be missed by many.
Professor Hackett was one of my favorite professors at Scheller. I remember gaining so much from his class especially his “I am a brand” project. He inspired me and my classmates to think of what makes us who we are and instilled confidence in us to bring our uniqueness to our endeavors. I feel so lucky to have connected with such a great educator and person
I am very sorry for the family’s loss. Big Brother Aaron and I met in 1992 at UT Austin when I joined him in Brotherhood in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Before our years in the Fraternity, I remember, seeing Aaron around campus and thinking, that is someone I want to meet. Even back then, Aaron had a recognizable brand, and I would come to learn that his welcoming smile is genuine. Great Man. Great Brother and Friend. Thank you for welcoming me. YITB
So sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Ingrid, you and the family are in our prayers. Heartfelt condolences .
Professor Hackett was truly an exceptional educator. I was gaining invaluable knowledge from his brand management class until I received the news of his passing, which left me deeply saddened. I am thankful for the opportunity to have known and learned from him. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

Professor Hackett was one of my favorite professors at GA Tech. Such a great teacher & most importantly a great human! I'm so happy that I had the pleasure of taking his class. His representation as one of the only black professors of the instituition was inspiring and necessary. My heart and prayers go out to his family & friends. May you all revel in the warmth of his memory.
Hi Ingrid. Please know my family and I are thinking of you all. There are no perfect words,  but there is a perfect God. Hopefully the memories of Aaron will bring you moments of comfort.
My heart does out to Darrell and the whole family, Aaron's wife and beautiful children. I am deeply shocked. Your kindness and loving soul will be remembered by us all.

We are so saddened to hear about Aaron's passing. He was an extraordinary person and had a strong positive impact on so many. John and I enjoyed his friendship during business school and appreciated his thoughtful mentoring of our son last summer. He will be missed.
