We are so very sorry to hear of Aaron’s passing. He always had a huge smile and was so engaging. Our deepest condolences to your family. Sending you  all much love and keeping you in our prayers.
I worked with Aaron when he worked for Evercare.  And with great respect I asked him to request my transfer out of sales and into his marketing department which he gave great consideration to and then accomplished, at which point I happily reported directly to him.  Aaron and I had two different personalities; he was much smoother and had a more zen-like calm demeanor.  I tend to run hot and a bit fiery.  We were a good yin and yang and spent quite a bit of time laughing at our differences while also complimenting each other.  In the end, he was the boss but he NEVER made me feel subservient or less than and he did very much help me manage difficult situations with quite a bit more grace than I actually possess.   I was grateful to him and for him then, and I remain that way now.  To Ingrid and his children, whom I’ve never met but who were brought to life through his regularly spoken adoration,  please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the hopes they help to strengthen you through this very challenging time.
Professor Hackett was an amazing example of someone who brought their passion into the classroom. My heart goes out to his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. He will be missed by the GT community tremendously.
Condolences to Ingrid and the entire Hackett family.  Aaron was an incredible person, thoughtful and kind and will be missed.  Keeping the Hackett family in my thoughts and prayers.
Can’t imagine the pain you are all feeling at this terrible loss. We love you and are sending love your way.
I will never forget Aaron's kindness, thoughtfulness, and big smile. His caring spirit will live on.

Ingrid, Darrel, and Lisa,

I am so very sorry to hear about Aaron’s passing. My heart goes out to all of you and the kids. I have so much respect and appreciation for how Aaron lived his life and how he helped me personally and professionally. His presence on Earth will be dearly missed. I pray for God’s comfort for you.

God bless you,

Rayford Davis (McKinsey, P&G, and EdQwest - my fond affiliations with the Hackett crew)

I had the incredible good fortune to work with Andrew at Sawa Credit. It was unbelievable how upbeat, good-natured, kind, and constructive he always was - which is an incredible feat when you are working on a startup. He treated every situation as an opportunity for learning and compassion. Each time I spoke with Aaron, I came away with a lesson and role model for how to be better just by observing him. The world has lost an inspiring leader.  May his memory be a blessing.
I was one of his students while doing my MBA at GT. I remember Aaron for his tenacious work ethic and can do attitude. He was a shining star, always warm & inspirational, bringing his full energy & enthusiasm to the classroom. I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. My sincerest condolences.
I have been thinking about Aaron the last few days and the image that comes up most is his infectious smile. I remember the laughter and warmth from our last meeting and his caring, helpful nature and his some amazingly good branding advice he gave me in just 2 short minutes . I know I have already seen his nature and character in the kids and I will look for his legacy and reflection there.
I did not know Aaron well but every time I saw him he had a big smile and was such a friendly person. I have nothing but positive memories of him. I was so sad to hear of his passing. He will be missed!

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Professor Aaron Hackett. He was not only a mentor but also a guiding light in my entrepreneurial journey. His wisdom, guidance, and support have been instrumental in keeping our startup afloat until today. Aaron's legacy will forever live on through the impact he has made on countless lives, including mine. My heartfelt condolences go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences Ingrid and beautiful family. Remembering Aaron’s bright smile and effervescent energy at the gym will always remain. Sending love and wishing you peace during this difficult time.
My condolences to his family and to everyone who has had the privilege of getting know him. I was lucky enough to get to TA for one of his classes and got to work with him and study from what he was teaching in Startup Lab. He was incredibly smart and was someone who cared deeply about their students. I am thankful for what he had taught me and will forever remember him
I want to express my deepest gratitude to Georgia Tech for recognizing and acknowledging my late husband's contributions. I am truly touched by this gesture, and I know he would have been humbled by the recognition.

My husband had a deep passion for his work and dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his endeavors at Georgia Tech. Knowing that his contributions are being acknowledged and appreciated means a great deal to me and our family during this difficult time.

Once again, thank you for honoring my husband's legacy and recognizing the impact he made. Your gesture of appreciation is truly meaningful and provides comfort to our grieving hearts.

With sincere appreciation,
Ingrid

In response to "What act of kindness did you witness from Aaron?"
Sending my thoughts to Professor Hackett's family during what must be such a difficult time. I was so lucky to take one of his courses during my MBA, and the things he taught me are still things I carry with me today and teach others. His passion, honesty, and drive were so inspiring! He was one of those teachers who change your life and the way you look at the world, and I am incredibly grateful to have known him.
No words can express what a loss this is for Aaron's family, friends, colleagues, students and everyone he touched with his kindness, support and wisdom. I first met Aaron in undergrad at UT and we both worked at P&G and attended the GSB, though at different times. He made me laugh and gave me good advice. I admired him personally and professionally and though we lost touch over the years I consider myself lucky to have known him. My deepest condolences to Darrel, Lisa, Ingrid, their children and loved ones. RIP Aaron.
Professor Hackett is one of those rare teachers who are unforgettable for both their educational impact and their spirit. I think constantly of his 80/20 principle and the examples within his book. My heart aches for his family.
