Personal note from Bill's daughter, Leslie

With heavy hearts Brandon and I announce the passing of our father, Bill Williams, on Monday, Sept. 16th, at his residence in Mountain Home, Idaho. For many years he struggled with his health as his physical body failed him in almost every way it could. But finally, we have seen an end to his suffering. We’ve never felt such pain as we do now and we miss him dearly. Together we are working to pick up the pieces… Trying to find comfort together in recalling the sound of his laughter, his strong personality and all of the fun we had with him over the years. He loved all things outdoors, space and the stars, Steelers football, and he lived his life with an adventurous and contagious spirit. Our dad could be tough as nails, a trouble maker and a heart breaker. He loved us, our spouses and his grandchildren with his whole heart. He loved his siblings and so many other friends and family.
We are grateful for all of the love and support we have already received and we are thankful to all of you who have given us the quiet support and space we needed as we have endured this journey.
We love you, Dad. And we know you are with us still, at peace, working to help mend our broken hearts. We are grateful for you and all of your love. Until we meet again…
