Wayne Pon was born in Canton, China on January 17, 1950. As a young child he was brought to America, on a boat with his mom to reunite with his dad in Northern California. The family settled down in Dunsmuir, CA, followed by his sister, Rose then brother, Warren. His older brother Edward joined the rest of the family from China . When he was a young man, he relocated to San Francisco where he met his wife, Elsie and had two children, Philip and Audrey. Eventually the entire family moved again to Southern California. Wayne loved to fish, spend time creating in his wood shop.
