Obituary

Teddy Seymour, a solo circumnavigator, marine officer, educator and an All American athlete passed away on April 11 in Eugene, Oregon. He was 81. Teddy touched and inspired many with his accomplishments, his wit and his sense of humor.

Born in Yonkers, NY, Teddy went on to earn a Track and Field Scholarship to Central State University where he became an All American Cross Country runner. He remained a daily and disciplined runner all of …
