Our condolence to the family. I was a classmate of Rick's have not seen him since we graduated in 1974. Rick was always nice to everyone and a great ball player. May he rest in peace, From the Wadsworth Class of 74 Grizzly Gatherings.
We are all going to miss him, yet we know he is walking with the King. He can't come back, but we can go to him, where he'll be smiling his biggest smile when he greets us at the gates.
Terri and I are shocked and saddened with Rick's passing. I was among the very lucky ones who got to enjoy having Rick and Scott ( Scooter) as batboys on our first Red Pepper teams in the early 70's. Getting to watch them progress through baseball and eventually having Rick as a teammate was simply the best. He was a great team player. He was loved and like his Dad, will never be forgotten.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Joyce, I cherish the memories I have of you and Rick at Malone and those wonderful days of baseball and dorm life! I always smile when I think about those days gone by. You are in my prayers. Mary (Prior) Meyer

Joyce, I am so sorry for all that you and your family have been through. This is beautifully written. I am praying for you all and am so grateful you have a strong faith.
We were so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. We have such great memories of the Fletchers and all the baseball, games, cookouts we did together those years. Your family is in our prayers and hope you know we are all praying for you. Love you!
Rick was a good friend and a very good man. Had the opportunity to first know him when I went to South Carolina and help train him for his District position. Don't know if he every mentioned me, but I'm Ken Spiro. Worked close with Rick here in Jacksonville as well. May the Lord bless and keep you and your family in his loving arms through your time of loss and sorrow. Although you have lost Rick, remember he is not lost but with God almighty and in his glorious kingdom. God bless you Joyce and send my condolences to your entire family. Rest in Peace, Richard.
A special guy I had the pleasure to know during our much younger baseball days. The Fletchers are a wonderful family and will remain in my memories forever. My best wishes to Rick's family and to mom, for the passing of Dick and Rick.
Joyce and family, We are so sorry that Rick has left so soon! In our earthly minds, we wanted him here longer, yet we know that God’s plan is always right on. Trusting in Him to give you peace that passes understanding. Love and prayers for you all. Ruck will be greatly missed. Love, Beth & Emery Hunt
