Sharlene Wall — "Paula was the fresh face of joy every time I saw her. She encouraged others in word as well as deed. We laughed over moving furniture into her home, clapped joyfully at Christmas programs and prayed together in public while enjoying her birthday meal 😇She touched my heart and soul and was such an inspiration as a woman, a trainer, a Christian and world class athlete. She had every accomplishment to be proud but she remained humbled and thanking the Lord for her talents!! She was one of a kind...a gold medalist in life. Looking forward to hugging her in heaven. As a former Prince William County high school athlete who was striving for the Olympics myself, I idolized and felt a kinship with anyone close to home who had managed to accomplish it. I want your family to know that Paula was an inspiration to kids she had no idea existed and her legacy reached far beyond the people who knew her personally. My heart goes out to your family and may you all find meaning, connection, and peace during this fragile time."

My husband and I used to visit her sometimes and so amazed by her organization habits, inner beauty and positive nature. Onetime She mentioned her fav song is 'reckless love ' and she sang through the entire song for me. So wonderful and still resonates with me. She will live in our memories until end of our times.

She was always pushing me to new limits and we even created programming to see how far I could go. I will never forget the lessons she taught me. Lisa Etcheberry — "Paula & I shared a great love for the Lord Jesus Christ. She was truly my Sister & Friend in Christ.

We also shared a love for dancing, great music, fitness, working out together, & working together.

I will always remember the Saturday nights of pizza, Christian movies, & talking until the wee hours of the morning.

Paula always made me smile & she came along to be my friend when I most needed a friend.

I know she is in Heaven & I can almost hear her say, “you’re going to love it here!”"
