We lost our precious Baby Mil…
2021

We lost our precious Baby Miles Philip Winfield on March 30, 2021. He returned to creation just before he was to begin experiencing life in the material world. Thus, he remains ethereal. We visited him yesterday and left him 2 little evergreens. Mom, my daughter-in-law, found the cutest and most amazing pair of tiny Christmas booties with 1 little Canadian evergreen planted in each. It was beautiful. We will forever remember him as Baby Miles. Our cherished baby Miles is never far from all of our hearts and minds. But he gives us some comfort to know that he lays next to one of his great-grannies. And then the children and I — Well they call them millennials, I call them my children — we visited with the rest of the Winfield family afterwards, where we again marveled at reading the dates on the family headstone going back to 1853.

This is the kind of things that blessings are made of. Just like Life is not a mystery at all the way most people think of it, blessings are not magical happenings. They are the things that we drive into our lives and allow ourselves to feel at the deepest levels of our beings. And yes, sometimes, blessings derive or are associated with events, such as our having lost our most precious baby Miles. He is a blessing to us nonetheless.

DO NOT LET JOY BE RARE. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT ALL AROUND YOU ARE THOUSANDS OF ELEMENTS —PEOPLE IN CREATION THAT YOU CAN TAKE GREAT JOY IN AND BILLIONS OF CREATURES AND SPECIES AND THINGS AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE THAT YOU CAN ENJOY JUST WITH YOUR SENSES.

"The mystic, in petitioning the Cosmic, turns the consciousness inward instead of directing the plea to a distant external entity or power. The Cosmic is in each of us, the mystic realizes. It is not just in the reaches of space. The mystic knows further, that our Soul will answer our petition. The Soul is of the Cosmic and it guides each of us to self-action." Ralph M Lewis
In response to "What did Miles love to do?"
Dear Soror Marie Yolette Winfield and Family,
Thank you for petitioning the Johannes Kelpius Lodge's Healing Committee for Assitance.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your grandson, Baby Miles Philip Winfield. Please know that you, your family and Baby Miles have the constant and loving support of your entire Rosicrucian family.
The aid of the Council of Solace (Healing Committee) operates on the Cosmic Plane and its activity is solely metaphysical. Once a petition is entered, metaphysical aid is directed for as long as it is needed.
In closing, I send my Sincerest Condolences to you and your family and I send Baby Miles my deepest thoughts of Peace and Love as he enters God's Radiant Light.
With All Best Wishes for Peace Profound,
Sincerely and Fraternally,
I am a witness to how kind, generous, compassionate, forgiving, and ultimately pure and universally loving Miles' terrestrial heart would have been.
I learned a great deal from Baby Miles, and I am just beginning learning on the issues that he has exposed.
