Macier went home to his final resting place on  May 14 2022 at age 72 . Macier was born to Marcie and Elvin on July 15 1949 in Jasper Tx . As a child, he played Little League football basketball, and ran track. Macier met wife, Sue Ann in 1973 at Green Stone Baptist Church. They married in 1977 and went on to have 3 children.
