My thoughts and prayers are with you Steve, Daniel, Ashley and all of Lorraine's family and friends. My friendship with Lorraine began when we were working together with the MVHS Band Boosters. We worked together volunteering and supporting the kids in their many activities and fundraising events. She and Steve were/are very dedicated and devoted to the kids and the program. She and Steve offered to participate and head up quite a few of the different activities specifically (while I was the booster president) the "Food Committee". As I reflect back on that time, I am still in awe and gratitude for their taking this task on. Not an easy feat for the 300 plus members and keeping the costs to feed that many to an incredibly low cost per person as well as providing really delicious meals to satisfy everyone (vegetarian options etc.). I can't even express how much I appreciated their efforts and the time commitment. It goes without saying that that when Lorraine (& Steve) offer to help, you could count on them to go above and beyond your expectations. True to their word ALWAYS! This is just one of the many things she(they) did to help support and show her(their) love.
Even after our Band Booster days were over and throughout the past few years, we've kept in touch via Facebook posts. I loved watching her with her grandchildren, their fun adventures, her posts about the chickens, penguins and Effie. I love the photos of her and Steve and the beautiful life they had and all the memories they shared. Steve, Daniel and Ashley, Tim and I are so very sorry for your loss. We feel so incredibly blessed to have known her and called her friend. The world is definitely a better place because she was here. Lorraine is truly an angel and a blessing to the many lives she touched with her love, dedication and devotion.

Lunch with our dear friends was always fun when they dropped back in town for a visit. Lorraine, you were always a bright light wherever you went!
