I remember feeding Josh's snake at my Grandma and Grandpa's. Josh was so excited to have the snake, and I was scared but so fascinated. Josh was patient with my scaredness, and waited until I was a little calmer to feed it the mouse. I can't remember for the life of me if the mouse was frozen or alive, but I think that we had gone to the pet store earlier that day and it was a live mouse. Anyways, he was patient and kind, and I remember him explaining to me exactly how the snake eats. I have so many other memories but this one makes me smile, I think since we were just children and friends, before life got in the way of child-like wonder.

I remember you and I being little rebels and climbing off the path at Mount Rushmore to get closer to their faces. The view was beautiful but it was also cold. You were looking so good and healthy at that time. I loved hiking and climbing with you back then. Wish we could do it again brother. Until I see you again <3
