Miss Joan Johnson, age 71, of North Augusta, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Treutlen Health and Rehab in Soperton after an extended illness. She was a native of Mt. Vernon and moved to Swainsboro in 1966. She was a 1968 graduate of Swainsboro High School and a 1972 graduate of Georgia Southern College in Statesboro earning a BA in Fashion Merchandising.
