Gregory Howard Payne, 65, passed away at his home in Hampton, CT on December 7 after an illness. He was born on February 27 1954 in Providence. He was the son of the late Howard F. Payne and Ruth O. (Grant) Payne. He is survived by his daughters, Dessa Cambio of North Scituate, RI and Jesse Payne of Killingly, CT and his partner Shelley Bertell of Hampton, CT.
