Obituary

Garland Edward Allen III, passed away peacefully in Palm Springs, CA on February 10, 2023. He was 86 years old.

Garland (“Gar”) was born on February 13, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky. After completing his B.A. in English at the University of Louisville in 1957, he got a Master of Arts and Teaching at Harvard University (1958) and then taught high school biology at Northfield Mount Hermon from 1958-1962.
