Charles was born on January 3, 1951 to Bessie And Charles Hinton in New Jersey . After graduating from East Orange High School in New Jersey in the year 1969 he went on to study and was recruited to USC to play football, where he became a key member of the Trojans 1972 National Championship Team coached by John McKay. …
