Personal note from Tammie & Kira

We are so fortunate that you have visited Carlos' memorial page; the outpouring of love, support, and wishes is so dear. He had friends we had never met, but each sentiment and generous thought has given us a new pride in our beloved Carlos - he was a good man to many and many have honored his remembrance.
Thanks so much for honoring the Love of My Life.

Event details

No memorial events are planned

Carlos always said he'd want to be cremated and his ashes spread in the ocean, where he spent his most favorite moments. We plan to spread his ashes in his 3 favorite places: Key West, so his ashes can make their way to Cuba where he was born; South Padre Island, where he met Tammie and lived for a big part of his life; and Cabo San Lucas, where he and Tammie were married and he went on his last fishing trip with his daughter Kira. We plan to do this on his 3 most special holidays--Fathers' Day, his birthday, and Thanksgiving.
