Pdp Perkins — Great first impression over the phone and it well downhill from there. Decided after a couple of calls and a awkward tour of the facility. I decided this was not the place for my mom.

Michelle Yz — THIS SHOULD NOT EVEN BE 1 STAR. THIS FACILITY IS AWFUL N STAFF DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONES. MY LOVED ONE IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE AS THIS FACILITLY DID NOT CARE FOR HIM. THEY KILL LOVE ONES HERE AT THIS FACILITY. .

Read more my parents got to the point to where they couldn't take care of themselves we were going to send them there because they had had such a great experience 2 years ago so when my mother recently needed a place to go rehab after a long Hospital stay I sent her there. What a mistake that was. It wasn't because of the staff that I even questioned it at first. I wanted to keep tabs on my mother and make sure that what she was telling me about what she was capable of was true or not. She was telling me that she was not able to do certain things and I was questioning her abilities so I asked management if I could put a ring camera in her room to watch her. Management had me sign and disclosure giving me certain restrictions and I did. I have only had the camera up in my mom's room for 2 days and I am finding out all kinds of things about Brighton Senior living that I don't like. There are certain things that they are supposed to be doing with my mother that they are not. I'm very unhappy with these people they're supposed to be rehabbing my mother and making her get stronger and I am seeing a whole new side of Brighton. They rarely go into my mother's room and I am very hesitant to believe that they are taking very good care of her as far as monitoring her a congestive heart failure and her renal failure. I had asked them to get me some blood work for her doctor 3-4 days ago and I have not seen the word test results even though I have called up there several times and even asked a nurse to call me back. I'm still waiting for those calls. I have meetings with her my mother's team each week and I will be getting to the bottom of it but I feel sorry for the residents who are staying there and don't have someone in their corner. Also I would like to mention that whenever it came time for me to choose a facility to send my mother to and I was still at the hospital the social worker at Brighton did not even bother to mention to the hospital that there was covid at Brighton. I should have at least been informed of that up front before I made my choice. Did I mention my mother was in stage 4 renal failure and stage 4 congestive heart failure? That's very serious for a patient who gets exposed to covid as well. To me that's negligent care. Now you see why they got two stars. Read less
