My only experience so far with them was the hospital team and the inpatient facility in Fort Worth. They were all very helpful and the inpatient facility was wonderful. It was peaceful and everyone was patient and caring with us and my dad was able to pass peacefully. My mother has requested this company for her upcoming journey too.

From the time they came on board to now, I have had nothing but the best experience I can imagine. My team makes sure my husband is well taken care of.
They answer immediately if I call in with a question. The respite help couldn’t have gone more smoothly
I hope the previous raters find what they need. .

Well, not a good start. A worker came to the house and checked in my father who we had just transported from 300 miles away. This was a Friday afternoon at 5:00. The worker said they would get us a bed but it would be just a little bit. At 10:00 pm we called the main number. They were surprised when didn’t have a bed but would find out and call right back. At midnight we called again because no one ever called back. Same story. At 1:00 am same story. At 2:00am a man shows up with the bed and said he had been out with friends and family and sorry he was late.
Not one bit of contact by a nurses until the following Tuesday. That was to tell us they would be by Thursday. ( a day short of a week) At that time we demanded to see a nurse. Well, the one they sent was not my favorite. While trying to explain the medications that she could in no way pronounce, she said this one is for gurgling, and I quote “ we call it the death moan”. That made me feel so good!!! We are talking about my dying father! This has been a circus from the word go.

The nurses are really nice, but are so shorthanded that they can't do their jobs effectively. Our nurse was so overwhelmed with patients she couldn't make appointments. Several times one of the nurses didn't order our meds and supplies. When my dad passed, they sent a lady that wasn't familiar with us. It took her several hours to get there. When she finally arrived, she just made phone calls and left us to take care of his body. She didn't care a bit. We were mourning my father's passing and had to clean his body and change his clothes because he soiled himself. They left us with all this medication and no instructions on how to dispose of it. They abandoned us! The case worker was so horrible that I refused to let her come back. She was self absorbed. She only wanted to push her companies to take care of remains cuz of kickbacks. She talked down to my dad and blew him off. She was so rude and disrespectful that he got up and walked out of the room. She never did the things she was supposed to do like get the handicap placard. Our nurse had to call her several times to get it done. When we asked about crisis care because my dad was actively dying, they didn't have the nurses to do it basically. They are too short handed. We should have switched hospice providers. I loved our nurse, but the company doesn't have the ability to really take care of their patients.

I would recommend a different hospice company. My father has been very rapidly deteriorating over the last week that he has been assigned to Community hospice due to his aggressive, late stage cancer. When we informed them that he was completely incontinent, they said they would bring out diapers and bed pads. Nope, I grabbed some that night because no one showed with them. We finally got them three days later when they tell us he most likely wouldn't make it through the night and to keep him as comfortable as possible. We told them that we had ordered more of his medications early early this morning... Well, it is 2am and we still have no medications and he has been crawling up his bed in pain with whatever energy he has left. If he dies in this severe of pain I swear there will be a lawsuit. This is the most inattentive organization I have ever heard of.
