Had Hospice care for my Uncle with Hospice of the Red River Valley. They listened to his concerns, treated him with respect, and maintained great contact with me about his condition changes. Even though they suggested a care facility they didn't push the subject. My Uncle ended up having to go to a care facility and when Hospice noticed that the care facility was not properly treating him they advocated for him very well. When he passed they were very compassionate and concerned about bereavement needs.

Thank you to the wonderful Red Team of the Red River Valley Hospice for the excellent care they took of our dad and husband of Betty. We found them all to be very caring, helpful with everything, and professional. God's blessings to you all.

I am an RN from New York. I came out to spend the last few months of my sister's life with her. Red River Valley Hospice was AMAZING! My sister was assigned the "Green Team," with Judy, RN., Louise, SW., and Kristin, Chaplain. Of course there were many other people involved outside this realm (Mya, MD, NP, on call people, admin., etc.). My sister, myself, her S.O., and the whole extended family were very happy with how well my sister was taken care of. Thank you all for what you do! You are amazing people, and this is an amazing organization. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Whether navigating end of life decisions for yourself or on behalf of a family member, the last place you want to be is on your own. Hospice of the Red River Valley was an invaluable resource for me during the time my Father needed me most. As a healthcare professional myself, I can honestly say he was well cared for by some of the most competent staff I have ever had the pleasure to work with. During the first week, I was contacted by each member of the team, including Administration, Nursing, Pastoral, and Volunteer staff. They assessed my Father and made recommendations within the first days and modified orders appropriately with my consent as he progressed. Their care did not stop once he passed. I received follow up calls as well as good resource material on grief counseling. If you are in need of hospice services, and choose Hospice of the Red River Valley, you are in the best possible hands.

My father was on Hospice at a nursing home. The communication between Hospice and our family was almost non existent. We definitely didn’t see the expertise they advertise on TV.
