jon stolley — The caregivers, support staff and nursing staff were so compassionate, caring and loving. They made the last days of Mom's life comfortable and free of pain, and made a difficult situation into a positive one. They were amazing, and we are so grateful for their service.

Darrell Seekins — I had heard loving stories from family and friends who had hospice support at the end of life with a loved one. Last November I experienced first hand with the passing of my mother, Rita who was a resident at a local facility. I had met with the staff from Beacon Hospice a few months prior so they could begin the visits and my mother would become familiar with the staff/volunteers early in the process. From that initial meeting to my mother's last breath she and I were supported with love, compassion and respect. They were always just a phone call away when I had a question. At times I would go to visit my mother and a Beacon Hospice staff member would be with her. The three of us would visit together as if we were three friends relaxing with a cup of tea. There was no rushing about or a quick exit. But instead a very calm, warm conversation, a "see you soon" goodbye and a quite transition, leaving my mother and I for our visit. During my mother's last week they were there when I couldn't be. They were lovingly open about what to expect and anticipated my questions in such a way that they were answered before I could ask. We cried, hugged and prayed together. They became "family" at a time in my life when I was most vulnerable, giving all their kindness and gentleness from the heart. I will be forever grateful.
