• What resources do you offer patients and families beyond basic care?

  In addition to Social Work, Chaplaincy and Bereavement services, our Program partners with St. Elizabeth Integrative Medicine to offer massage and acupuncture, pet therapy and music therapy. St. Elizabeth Hospice also boasts a robust Volunteer Program, providing compassionate support when patients and families need it most.

• What makes you stand out from other hospices?

  St. Elizabeth Hospice is the preferred hospice provider in our 7 counties served, in Northern Kentucky, with multiple locations in Edgewood, Florence, Ft. Thomas and Grant County. Our stand-alone Inpatient Hospice Unit holds 16 beds and provides care for acute, un-controlled symptoms. Additionally, we provide bereavement services at a stand-alone Community Grief Support Center, to support patients and families through the entire trajectory of a terminal illness.

• What does care look like for the average patient?

  Each Plan of Care is tailored to meet your needs and values. St. Elizabeth Hospice offers hospice care, in the home, long-term care or nursing facility, assisted living facility, inpatient facility, hospital setting as well as offering respite care for caregivers.

  Our philosophy and mission is to provide the highest quality of personalized care to terminally ill patients and their families with the fullest respect for the dignity of the individual and their physical, psychological, sociological and spiritual needs.

  St. Elizabeth is deeply ingrained in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati community. Our patients are our family, friends and neighbors.
