Reviews for Phoenix Home Care and Hospice
Kathleen Missman — The team is sensational. So kind and caring. We have loved having our home aides who make it possible for my husband to get around as he gains strength. The "back office" is great and works closely with us to ensure good coverage and our satisfaction.

Queen — I am writing today to complain of the poor interview process I experienced from your company. I was referred to your company Phoenix Home Care & Hospice by a long time family friend of The Melugin's. I have been doing care-given PRN and part-time for over 4 yrs now and never had to go through a interview process that wastes your time. I made aware that I was full-time employee at a real estate office and my time is very valuable on the PHONE interview. I was told during the phone screen if I complete my application online ect. it would save us sometime as I expressed I have a great deal of commitments I have to hold. I arrived to my interview around 12:03pm due the office being complete hard to find. I had to have front deck Ms. Martha guide me there.. RED FLAG. I was greeted by Courtney (i think she was not a rememberable person) whom had very bad energy within she when she saw be she had a unpleasant look she took into a room and stated she would be back after asking me if needed a drink. She came back about 3 mins later with a TON of paperwork WHICH I HAD ALREADY COMPLETED. She stated to me " I know you completed this information online but you need to do it again" at this point I was pressed for time as was told on my phone interview the process could take a HOUR to interview. I started to complete the paperwork again as I thought to call family friend of The Melugin's. She stated I should not have to do the paperwork twice!! She informed to get up and leave. I had done all of the research on the culture of the company and everything. I had faith and was very disappointed with the interviewer COURTNEY!!! DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY THEY WILL WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME. This is just my opinion however God will have the last say- God Bless. --- From A passionate highly worthy care provider.

Anna Lawson — I've had Phoenix home health care for two years since March of this year things have gone downhill I have lost my job because of Phoenix home health care and they're Homecare girls just up and quit and they don't try to cover them and leave you hanging I've had to call into work several times at weeks at a time because they're just not they're the ones they do send over stay for 2-3 days and leave I've had them still for me I've had them do drugs in my house and eat my food very unprofessional the Sedalia office has someone working for them that doesn't know how to care and compassion for the person that needs the care they leave you hanging I would not recommend this company to anyone

Stephanie Guilfoyle — I completely disagree with the former reviewer who clearly this field just isn't meant for. Not all patients are going to be your favorites, that's ok, they still deserve respect. That being said, I have worked for several hospice companies and this one shines bright. The pay is comparable. It's family owned so there is no corporate board pushing and pushing, patient care comes first. The team I work for is fantastic. Management and office staff are supportive and in the field we have one another's backs. Our patients are well cared for and about. Bravo to a hospice company who does it right!
