geasterbk — My husband was a terminal cancer patient. We dealt with 3 hospice nurses. One of which was his every week nurse. The other two were nurses who needed to provide care on an emergency basis. The nurse that was his every week nurse was very scattered. She did not provide good information or services.... Read more

y — Horrible, horrible experience with this terrible "healthcare" company, if you could even call it that. All of the in-home nurses are ghetto, lazy and unprofessional and have no business taking care of the elderly/terminally ill. There are many other local hospice companies to consider before... Paul Fox — My mother was with Vitas hospice for the last 24 hours of her life. The nurse with her for the first 10 hours/intake process made those hours miserable for her and her family. We were looking for help to ease her passing and it was worse as a result of Vitas.
