Reviews for Suncrest Hospice Denver
Marianne Monagle — As an RN myself and as a previous volunteer at a local hospice for years, I was totally dismayed the staff had terrible turnover when we needed them the most. I don't think I expected too much, just what is standard of care.... but the chaplain and the social worker left and all of the family discussions with them were not followed through (help with the mortuary as they had promised) so the new staff and us had to start all over.... Then at my MIL time of passing, they did not recognize signs of the agonal state and did not let us know she developed a fever and was not doing well, these were just a few of the clear signs retrospect that were missed. She passed alone and was not found until many hours later, we did not have a chance to be with her in her last few days as she declined with out our knowledge, and missed also her last day on earth, we did not get to say goodbye, but were called many hours after the fact, she was already room temp cold and in full rigor. This is not how it is supposed to happen!!! This took me a long time to write this review finally, 6 months later as I was so disappointed in the staff, this is not what hospice care endings are supposed to be like. I trusted them to keep us informed and included in care, and to update us in her declining condition, so we could be with her at the end. Sad care in this respect. They did keep her as pain free as possible, and relatively in good spirits for that I am grateful. It is hard to forgive missing the end though. I hope they take this to heart.

Lynda Paetzel — Suncrest provided outstanding care for my mom. They were wonderful with her and with us. I am thankful we chose them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for hospice care.

Kristin Snow — We are extremely grateful to Suncrest for their care during my dad’s transition to passing. Sandra, our CNA, was caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Jenny, our nurse, went out of her way to be with us when we needed her most. Suncrest made a very sad experience much less stressful for me and my mom, and we are very grateful.

Lois Siegel — The staff from Suncrest were amazing working with my husband. He had such loving care for my husband. All of the nurses were so caring and helped to make the last months of his life very comfortable.

Melissa Gilmore — I have worked here for going on 2 years and every day I get to come to work and help people. Help people live comfortably and be with their families. I get to help their family members be family members and not worry about being caregivers. I get to help relieve stress from their lives. To me this is the best job I could ask for. I work with an amazing team of individuals that make this happen and amazing supervisors that allow me to be myself and to think outside the box to help our patients. If you are looking for a place to work, this is it. If you are looking for a place for your loved one to be cared for, this is also it. Thanks!
