Reviews for Agape Hospice Services
Starr Livingston — Our family was very pleased with the care provided to our Mother over a six month period by Agape. All family except one member lived out of state, but we were comforted by the knowledge that she was receiving excellent care. The entire staff was full of compassion. Case manager Karen provided Dad (husband) with weekly updates, often in person, and near the end, daily visits. She also communicated regularly with one selected out of state family member. CNA Dora did an excellent job bathing and graciously styling Mom's hair. We always knew when Dora had been there - Mom's hair looked beautiful! SW Sunny, Chaplain Corrine, and volunteer Vanessa were also super supportive, and provided resources to assist in the grief process. Agape communicated well with the SNF staff to be sure no gaps in care, or conflicting orders. They also were excellent in providing Mom with resources such as wheelchair, special mattress, crocheted blanket, and busy-blanket (hand activity). All phone calls to the Agape main line during and outside of regular business hours were handled promptly.

Kristin K — Casey from agape is so awesome ! I love how personable she is and how available she makes herself for the hospice talks we have with or residents , she’s the sweetest ever. She went the extra mile and brought me a homemade meal from our main land of Nebraska I was in awe at how amazingly thoughtful she is

Cecelia Albertson — Agape hospice Social worker Sonya (sp?) is very unprofessional. Insisted to have an in person meeting immediately in regard to mom's basic needs, then switched it up to a phone conference. We left a time that would work for all at her request. When we called we were transferred to Agape's Chaplain then to the Chaplain's manager, then to Agape's Social worker Sonya who asked in a very terse tone "what do you have to say that is so important?" Inbetween all of these transfers we were placed on hold for over 10 minutes. Is this how to address concerned family members of their mother, grandmother, aunt who is at the end of their life? I would not recommend to work with Agape's Social worker Sonya due to her unpleasant demeanor and demands that she never intended to follow through. She wants to set another conference after she returns from her time off. Mom's needs are on hold for now. Hopefully mother gets her basic needs met soon.

Cassan Phelps — The staff of Agape was wonderful when they were at our house. However, after hours it was difficult to get a hold of someone and when I finally did, I had to wait over an hour to get a call back. When she finally called me back to give me directions on how to care for my grandmothers pain she apologized for not calling sooner but her cell phone had bad service and the doctor was eating dinner. I was really disappointed by the lack of communication and support provided. Given the opportunity again I would go with a different hospice. Had my grandmother not been so close to the end I would have changed hospices. They never even contacted us after my grandmother passed. Nicki promised us the world at admission and did not fulfill any of those promises once we signed the paperwork. Overall a VERY negative experience. I do not reccomend.
