I'm so sorry for your loss. My ex boyfriend of 6 and a half years passed away on March 8th 2019 and some days, It still feels fresh to me. We broke up in late 2014 but we remained friends. We lived together, and we were best friends, lovers, and soulmates. One of the worst feelings is to feel alone and misunderstood. I began looking online for grief support communities, in hopes of connecting with others who are also experiencing grief. I hope to hear back from you.

Thank you. Were there any services or funeral arrangements for your loved one? I began reading books about grief and loss shortly after my loved one passed away, and some of them have helped me through grief. I can share the names of the books if you would like them. I understand that everyone finds ways to cope with grief that work for them.
I'm sorry to hear that. Was that a personal choice of yours? I wanted to attend my loved ones wake, his church services, and his burial but I was stopped from going. The grief process felt harder and lasted longer as I felt denied in my right to grieve as equally as everyone else was able to.

I sure did exist we lived together we were getting married July 18th if he would’ve passed.Now I’m done because I’m not gonna argue with no one.So have a happy life
