Frequently asked questions

Answered by Natural Grace

  • What is the history of Natural Grace?

Natural Grace's founder and Funeral Director, Shari Wolf, is an advocate for a more natural approach to funeral service and for offering families highly personalized care. She founded Natural Grace in 2010 to provide a natural approach to the funeral business that is intended to raise the end of life standards for us all.

  • Who are the key people at Natural Grace?

Shari Wolf, Tawny Randell, Gabriel Smith and Liliya Bernardini.

  • What is the funeral planning process generally like?

Our planning process is very personal and very flexible. Families are not required to come to our offices and have a formal meeting. We communicate and plan with the family in any way that works best for them.

  • Are there specific types of funerals that you specialize in?

We offer all cremation and burial services, however, we specialize in Green Burials. Green Burial is a way of caring for the dead with minimal environmental impact that aids in the conservation of natural resources, reduction of carbon emissions, protection of worker health, and the restoration and/or preservation of habitat.

Green burial means that the body is buried in a simple biodegradable container with no toxic chemical embalming (which often utilizes formaldehyde and other toxic chemicals). In addition, biodegradable containers are used for burial, and concrete vaults are prohibited.

  • What makes you different from other funeral homes?

We offer the services desired by each family while taking a natural approach to everything we do. This includes the method of body preparation, temporary body preservation, burial containers and the purchase of "carbon offsets" to offset the carbon emitted from the cremation process. Our business philosophy is to offer environmentally sensitive death care options combined with personal service and reasonable pricing.
